A dog named Lucy who is half boxer and half american bull dog attacked Daisy upon entry to the dog park this evening. The girls were with me while mike was returning library books. It was horrible. I have never heard my dog cry out in pain the way she did. Daisy needed to have surgery and stay overnight. She had a drain and stiches and had to wear a cone on her head. What an ordeal. The owner seemed really nice at first--but now is refusing to pay. I am planning on taking him to small claims court. The bill was over 600. not just a few pennies. Luckily Daisy is better now except that she growls (out of fear) at other dogs. We have to work on this. Our lives are NEVER boring.
