Today I took the girls to Van Saun Zoo. We love the bird habitat where you can feed them from a stick. Usually you have to approach and prod the birds to the sticks but not this time. They flew right to us. Two and three at a time. It was a little scary. Amanda threw her stick and let out a shreak. Then she eventually was more comfortable. Then the girls and I attended a book reading and were able to pet a giant snake and a little rabbit.
