8/10/07--Getting ready for school!

Amanda and I purchased her school uniforms this evening! Amanda is still unsure about the whole thing. Sometimes she is so excited to go to Mrs. Foley's School! Mrs. Eileen Foley will be her pre-k 3 teacher at Hoboken Catholic Academy. Then there are other days when she says she wants to stay at Romparoo--her current school. Change is hard esp. when you are three.

Amanda is pictured being measured for her pants. We also bought a couple jumpers, shirts, gym uniform, socks, etc. Hopefully this will cut down on our arguments about what to wear in the mornings! Can you believe at age three she has such opinions.

8/12/07--Ziv and Gal's Birthday Party

Ziv turned three and Gal turned one! They had their party at the Jackson St. park which has water sprayers. Lots of fun!

Amanda is always front and center when it is cake time!

8/11/07--Touching Grass

Since we live in the city the kids don't get too much grass time--but we try to sit on it and play on it as much as possible. Abbey loves touching it and even tried to eat it! oooh yum! Amanda has fun feeding the pigeons, small birds and squirrels. They come right up to us as long as you have food for them.

8/11/07--Belly Button

Amanda's new nickname for Abbey is, "Belly Button!" It is so cute how she calls her that all the time!

Our nicknames for Amanda: Mushy or Silly Goose.

Our nicknames for Abbey: Abigaily (rhymes with snaily) and Scooby.

Amanda has been calling me Freckles lately---errrh--not too thrilled about that but since it is her it is okay.

8/9/07 --Hair Clip Party

Desiree and I hosted a Hair Clip Making Party. It was so much fun. Everyone made some really cute clips to take home. The kids played and watched Cinderella.

It was Georgia's 2nd birthday-so we all sang to her!

8/7/07--Family Fun Night at the Shipyard

Music Together performed this week at family fun night. Lots of our favorite kiddie tunes.

Amanda had fun with lots of her friends while Abigail ate all of Emma's dinner!

8/1/07---Going Upstate!

Cat needs a little break from day to day life in Hoboken--so we escaped to Highland (next town from New Paltz) for a change of scenery. Aunt Joanne and crew are in Vegas until Sat the 3rd. We used their pool while they were away in exchange we got their mail and watered their garden and flowers! Amanda loves playing with Toby--the neighbors cat that always comes over to visit. We helped take care of MeMe and give Poppop and Aunt Nancy a little break.
Mike came up on Sat. and we were able to catch a movie--which we never are able to do at home. A nice little break even if it was for only a couple hours.
Also Cat started to work on this years cork wreaths. Alyssa and a couple of her friends are on the payroll helping out this year too! Thank you Alyssa and Jaime! Great work.
