7/30/09--Playdate at Daniel's house
Classmate Daniel and his brother Michael and mom Lori invited us over to swim today. They live off of River Road overlooking the Hudson River. They outdoor pool is heated too. It was wonderful. Amanda said she didn't want to go at first because he wasn't going to have any girl toys--but when it was time to leave--she didn't want to go. She was having fun with all the boy toys!!! Abbey too.
7/29/09-- Tennis Camp
Tennis camp today went really well. They even let Abbey participate for a little bit. Amanda was thrilled to actually hit the ball with the raquet both backhand and forehand. Abbey did well too.
7/27/09--Secaucus Swim Center
Our first trip to the swim center. Too bad we only were able to spend a couple hours there before it started to storm out and they kicked everyone out of the pools.
7/26/09--BBQ at Liz/Claire's house
Swim/bbq at Liz and Claire's house. They have a pool at their condo--a rare thing in Hoboken. Lots of friends were there: Cindy, Trinity, Garrett, and Liam. Loved the sangria!!! Sorry Liz--I knew you didn't make it. The fruit was cut up too precisely--I knew someone else made it.
7/25/09--St. Ann's again with Olivia H.
We can't escape going to the St. Ann's Church festival because it is literally right outside our house!!! Tonight we hung out with classmate Olivia (she just got back from vacation in Jamacia).
7/24/09-- The Nerds played at St. Ann's Festival
We love watching the band--the Nerds that come to St. Ann's Festival each year. They are awesome!!! Abbey really loved rocking out to their music this year. She was right in front most of the time and Amanda joined her sometimes too.
