8/26/08--Battery Park
Took the ferry to Battery park today. Amanda made a new friend Matthew --she was smitten! Notice the look in her eyes. She loves boys named Matthew!!!! He helped her across the bridge--her prince---her knight! Just kidding--but he did help her across the bridge because both my girls are afraid of heights. I also helped push the kids on the carousel ride thingy--I even got on and peddled! Who needs a spin class. Abbey was pushing Amanda in the rainbow thingy. She is so strong.
8/24/08--Cousins AJ and Madison
Had a bbq at Mike's parents house today. Uncle Patrick (mike's brother) and Aunt Lisa were there along with AJ and Madison. Amanda LOVED holding baby Madison (4 mo) until she got a little fussy.
Mike's Nana was there too--she is going to be 93 in Oct. ! Go Nanny!
8/22/08--Sinatra Park concert
Another free concert held at F. Sinatra park. Tonight was Frank Anthony and Company singing some good old Italian favorites.
8/9/08-- Eva and Sophia visit
We were so excited to have Eva and Sophia come visit us today! We love company. I have been friends with Eva since second grade. It is so hard to believe that we are the grown-ups now with our own kids. Eva has Sophia (2.5 yrs.) and is currently expecting baby number two in Feb.! I loved being able to show a little bit of our town to them. We missed having Justin visit--but he was on a business trip in AZ. The kids had a good time playing--although Amanda was very tired and grouchy--but what else is new. The kids played at the park, had lunch at the Pita Grill, went to Maxwell place, and I think they had the best time just playing dress-up ballerinas and dancing around the living room.
Thanks for the visit! Our door is always open. Sorry this is out of order--but I saved the photos in a different spot and just found them again.
